I accepted Christ at the age of 18 at a Jay Strack Crusade on July 4, 1988. The following year as a counselor at youth camp, I surrendered to full-time Christian ministry. I am blessed to be called husband to my wife Tommi and dad to our two adult boys, Sy and Ely. I have pastored four other churches after beginning ministry as a youth pastor back in 1997. Over the years, the Lord has showed us and taught us through the good and bad; and we know that it is God’s call on our lives as His children that gets us from one day to the next. However, our joy is only through the Lord. I want that to be evident on my life each day. Being a pastor has also brought me so much joy as I strive to serve the Lord and preach the Word of God. My family truly enjoys spending time together, shopping, hunting, and fishing. The Odom’s are honored to be the Senior Pastor and wife of Temple Baptist Church.
